Welcome to your Lincoln High School Alumni Association Page!
LHSAA is a non-profit organization, ID # 95 6097 407, Classification 501 C3-509 9C

Our Mission Statement:

"To perpetuate tradition at Lincoln High School by honoring worthy students with academic and fine arts scholarships (financial grants); to financially support insufficient school programs; to acknowledge alumni for their exemplary contributions to the school and/or society at large as we uphold the goals, vision and mission of our alma mater."

As alumni organizations go, we are the latest incarnation of active Lincoln High grads dedicated to do all we can for students and our alma mater.  Alumni have organized since the very beginning of our school’s history.  All you have to do to realize this is to delve into the earliest publications of yearbooks and know that alumni were encouraged to meet at the school. Alumni names from those early years were even listed in the yearbooks.  The listing of names eventually disappeared, but alumni were always welcomed back ‘home’ by then Principal Ethel P. Andrus.

The most current alumni association has been operating in earnest since 2006 and is officially registered with the state of California as a non-profit.

We meet every 3rd Saturday of the month at 9:30 a.m. at the old firehouse, 516 N. Broadway across from L.H.S. unless otherwise noted.
Association elections held every June.  No meeting in December – break for holidays

Come join us!

Thank you for your donations and continued generosity in support of our fundraising events for Lincoln students and programs. It makes a difference!

SPRING DANCE SCHEDULED FOR  SATURDAY, MAY 2, 2020
                                      CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC
Please read the following letter from LHSAA President, Marco Robles

Greetings Tiger Alums and friends March 17, 2020
Here’s hoping things are going as well as can be expected with you, your family and friends,
under these traumatic times.
Your alumni Executive and auxiliary Boards have just met to discuss the effects of the
Coronavirus (abbreviated “COVID-19”) situation as it relates to our specific Alumni
activities. As you are aware our organization is tuned in very closely with our Alma mater
and its students. As specific events and/or news regarding our Alma Mater becomes available
we’ll report it to you as soon as possible by email.
As many of you recall, our Spring Dance is scheduled for May 2, approximately a month
away, at the City of Commerce, Hilton DoubleTree hotel. In addition, the Fall Alumni dance
is already scheduled for October 24, 2020, at the same location.
***With all the government restrictions being placed on group gatherings and unknown
timeframes, the Alumni Boards have decided to CANCEL the 2020 Spring dance.
Understanding that more than 100 tickets have already been sold for the Spring dance, several
options (3) became apparent:
1) The ticket(s) purchase amount can be directly applied (1 for 1) to the October 24,
2020 dance at face value. (The October (Fall) dance price is typically slightly more
than the spring dances; what a deal!)
2) The ticket(s) purchase amount can be directly applied (1 for 1) to the 2021 Spring
3) Your 2020 Spring ticket(s) purchase amount can be returned to the purchasing party
(by check.)
As you decide, please EMAIL or call the Board members
below ASAP of your decision:
(Our dance coordinators)
 Mike Ibarra:
(Mobil (323) 683-6102)
 Luz Marina Lopez:
Thank you very much for your continued support, especially during this trying period.
Stay healthy
