The college corner is looking for teachers who can assist with reading student's personal statements. If you can donate one lunch or conference period between now and Nov 30, Lincoln students will not benefit but will be very grateful.
Many of our seniors have received conditional acceptance emails from csula. Some csu campuses will stop processing application next week. Many UC campuses have majors that are closed. Please encourage your students to apply asap

Networking with other lausd college counselors "brown bag" meetings
Visitng work experience students' worksites
General public relations activities.
These activities are either part of the job description, lausd policy or mandated by California education code.
