An announcement regarding a California State Tax change has been posted to Inside LAUSD and the BTS website. The change will be in effect beginning with the following November pay dates: November 5, 2009 for Certificated employees, November 6, 2009 for Semi-Monthly employees, and November 30, 2009 for Classified employees. It will be in effect through 2010.
Due to these tax changes, we encourage employees interested in changing their Federal or State Tax withholding rates to first consult with their tax professionals. All LAUSD employees can now view and change the federal and state withholding forms online with a recently implemented resource for W-4 and DE-4 forms. To access the new W-4 and DE-4, employees can go to https://selfservice.lausd.net and log in using their LAUSD email User ID and password.
