Course Description

Modern Literature is the complement to Expository Composition, the second step in senior English, in preparation for college level work.  The books studied are John Krakauer's INTO THE WILD, BRAVE NEW WORLD, by Aldous Huxley, ALL QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT, by Erich Maria Remarque, and THIS BOY'S LIFE, by Tobias Wolff.
