Description

AP United States Government is an intensive study of the formal and informal structures of government and the processes of the American political system, with an emphasis on policy-making and implementation. This course is designed to prepare students for the AP exam.

Students successfully completing this course will 1. Know important facts, theories, and concepts pertaining to U.S. Government and Politics. 2. Understand patterns of typical processes and behaviors and their consequences. 3. Be able to analyze and interpret basic data relevant to U.S. Government and Politics.
