Visit an Art Gallery or an Art Museum.  Choose a work of art to write about.  Describe it in terms of the Elements and Principles of Art.  What do you think the artist's intended message was?  Include the name of the artist and the work of art.  Was there an emotional intent to the work?  What was the medium used? [paint, pencil, clay, metal, wood etc.]

Bring proof of your visit in the form of a receipt, press release, brochure or other documentation along with your two page report.  This will be added to your grade as extra credit.
