Gladden, Kyle » Hello There!

Hello There!

Thanks for stopping by.  Before teaching, I earned a bachelors degree in English and Drama from UCLA (School of Theater, Film, and Television) in 2001.  I taught at San Fernando High School, John Marshall High School (where I also coached the swim team), and Leadership in Entertainment and Media Arts High School, and I am thrilled to be here at Lincoln.  After teaching for six years, I took an eight-year hiatus to tour the U.S. and Europe with my band Bodies of Water, and to work in the entertainment industry.   I have been in, and directed a myriad of stage plays and musicals, and hve shot and directed many independent editorial films.  I have two young kids, and love to surf, camp, cook, and read in my free time.  I am a proponent of the "Oxford Comma", and have a general distaste for the use of "air quotes".  Actual quotes are fine.

Thanks for stopping by; see you around campus!!
