Second Semester Begins Monday
Students will report to their “OLD” Period 1 on Monday, February 8, 2010; teachers will distribute program cards. “OLD” Period 1 refers to their Period 1 class during the Fall 2009.

UTLA Community Rally and March - Tuesday, February 9
Join UTLA members on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at Garfield to fight for increased funding and local control of our schools and against budget cuts and outside takeovers.
Audition Now! Once on This Island Musical

We need actors, singers, and dancers for the Lincoln High School presentation of Once on this Island. Auditions have been postponed until February 18th and 18th after school. See Ms. Collins or Crabtree for details. No experience necessary. Shows will take place on April 30th and May 1st.
Prom Dresses Event
LA's Prom Closet is an organization that donates prom dresses to students less fortunate and uanble to purchase their own prom dress. They are hosting their "Dress to Remember" event on Saturday, March 27, 2010. Submission deadline is March 15, 2010.

Talent Show Competition in April
Art Competition from April 14th - 15th and Talent Show Competition from April 21st - 22nd. The competition is open to all high school students. For more information, come by Room 122.
