Lincoln Baseball Playoffs / Shakey's Fundraiser
Lincoln's Varsity Baseball Team qualified for the Division II Playoffs for the fourth consecutive year and will play at Roybal on Wednesday, May 22 at 3:00 p.m. against Grant H.S. We will also have a fundraiser on Tuesday at Shakey's in Alhambra from 6-9. Please support our young men.

In Memory of Sal Castro

In Memory of Sal Castro From LA TImes: Sal Castro, a veteran Los Angeles Unified School District teacher who played a central role in the 1968 "blowouts," when more than 1,000 students in predominantly Latino high schools walked out of their classrooms to protest inequalities in education, died in his sleep Monday after a long bout with cancer. He was 79.
Senior Essay Contest
Attention seniors! It's time again for the Lincoln High School Alumni Association's Annual Scholarship Essay Competition. This Year's theme will be related to the high school's 100th Anniversary.

The yearbook is on sale for $85. Buy now at the Student Store. Also while supplies last, you can purchase this year's yearbook and get last year's yearbook for $100. Remember your high school experiences forever!
Prom and Graduation Ceremony
Graduation will take place at Lincoln High School at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, June 10, 2013. Put it on the calendar and invite all your friends and family and make this graduation the best!
Good News: Summer School at Lincoln
If you want to take summer school, the good news is Lincoln will have a limited summer school program. Begin speaking with your counselor about classes you might wish to take (core subjects). Only for recovery.
Credit Recovery from June 17 - July 23, 2013
Need to make up U.S. History, World History, U.S. Government, English 9 or English 10. Sign up with your high school counselor beginning April 22, 2013.

Science Bowl - Tied for 5th Place with Bravo
Congratulations to the Science Bowl team, which tied for fifth place in the Annual Science Bowl on Saturday. They just made it into the afternoon tournament and ended up winning their first two matches before losing to North Hollywood and SOCES.
