Tardy Intervention Program

Tardy Intervention Program
T.I.P.
Tardy sweeps will be conducted every morning and randomly throughout the day.
Students with:
• 3 tardies will receive a call from the school, and a conference with their counselor who will issue the Tardy Intervention Letter.
• 5 tardies will receive an hour of the Afterschool Tardy Intervention Program with the PSA, and possible community service.
• 10 tardies will have a conference with the PSA, have community service and possibly referred for support services.
• 10 tardies or more will result in a SLC administrative meeting, and possible administrative interventions.
Students will be restricted from participating in extracurricular activities if they fail to attend the after school Tardy Intervention Program, community service, and continue to have chronic attendance issues. This includes graduation holds, prom, dances, and participation in afterschool activities.
