It’s Crunch Time! Help Get Prop. 30 Passed, and Help Defeat Prop. 32

There is barely a month left before the election . . . and we are faced with a REALLY tight race!
By passing Prop. 30, we will bring in hundreds of millions of dollars annually into the LAUSD. This infusion of funding is the path to cancelling furlough days and giving our students their first full instructional year since 2008.
We also MUST defeat Prop 32. It is an initiative with one purpose -- to silence the voices of educators and their unions, and workers and their unions. It EXEMPTS SuperPacs, the wealthy, attorneys, and corporations from its provisions. DO NOT BE FOOLED by the Pro-32 ads. Passage of Prop. 32 forever silences the voice of educators in school board and legislative races!
Here’s a link to a flyer to give to your friends, colleagues, family members and neighbors. Share it with all the communities you are part of -- church groups, little leagues, soccer leagues, and any other community group.

We try to plan chapter meetings every two weeks. The current dates for chapter meetings are as follows:
October 11, October 25, November 8, November 29, December 13 (if needed). Please join us during lunch in Ms. Rose's, Room 204.
