The program’s goals are to offset the negative effects of poverty and increase student achievement. The program benefits students by paying the salaries of support personnel who augment district services and support students and their families. Some of the positions funded by Title One funding include the Teachers, College Counselor, Community Representatives,Teaching Assistants, and Education Aides. Title One also provides funding for after school tutoring and keep the computer lab and school library open after school. Title One funds many of the  school’s field trips. Teachers receive additional instructional materials and are eligible to receive funds for professional development.
