About The EMTT Group

Drama Club and The EMTT Group both fall under the same umbrella. We are one. The performing arts community of Lincoln High School. This is the fourth year since EMTT was founded by Matthew Noah and Christopher A. Lopez, both Lincoln alumni, who wanted to make a difference. So far we've surpassed our own expectations, pushing students to give every show their all. Our past productions have included: Little Shop of Horrors, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet, In The Heights, and Arthur Miller's The Crucible; as well as themed cabarets such as: Spring Cabaret and An Evening With The Dead.
While students are always working on a production, time is put aside for classes like tap dance, vocals, acting, makeup/costuming, and technology (lights, sound, etc.). Rehearsals and classes are held after school in the auditorium!

The EMTT Group rehearsals are featured in Drama Club's Vlog Series!

"All the best performers bring to their role something more, something different than what the author put on paper. That's what makes theatre live. That's why it persists."
