No School Thursday and Friday and Week of September 6-10
Maybe we should call it our second summer, but no classes will be held at Lincoln from September 2 through September 10th. School resumes on September 13. We wish everyone a safe and enjoyable second summer!
All Tuesdays - Shortened Days -- Early Dismissal at 1:34 p.m.
Be aware that all Tuesdays this year will be shortened days with a dismissal of 1:34 p.m.
Take AP Classes or Make Up Credits/Classes Online
Are you behind credits and need to make up classes? Or do you want a challenge and take an AP class due to a schedule conflict or lack of offering? It is possible to make up classes by taking an online class. Motivated students should apply. Speak with Mr. Skramstad in Room 209 for more details. Many classes are offered.

Block Schedule and Advisories Coming to Lincoln
Lincoln High School will have 84-minute periods, a block schedule (with 8 classes and 4 classes per day), and advisory periods in the coming year. Every student will have an advisory class every day to provide daily academic support. All Tuesdays will be early dismissal days at 1:34 p.m.

College Fair - Friday, April 16 from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.
Glad to see students coming out for the college fair on Friday at Lunch. Stop by the College Center online to learn more about college opportunities or visit the College Corner in Room 203B.
Day of Silence
This Thursday, April 15, 2010, the Gay-Straight Alliance will be sponsoring the Day of Silence. This day is a the largest nation-wide student-led event that protests the bullying and harassment of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transfereder (LGBT) students and their supports.
Tutoring is available for all Lincoln High School Students
Need help with homework or any of your classes, take advantage of Lincoln High School tutoring before and after school: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Sign up in Title I Office at Room 101.
ELAC Meeting
Thanks to all parents who joined us for the ELAC meeting on Thursday night. We love to hear your voice and have you involved in the process at Lincoln.

AP Tests only cost $5 per exam
Students, due to Lincoln High School's status, students may take each AP exam for a cost of only $5. AP Examinations count for college credit and look great on your application to colleges.
