No School Thursday and Friday and Week of September 6-10
Maybe we should call it our second summer, but no classes will be held at Lincoln from September through September 10th. School resumes on September 13. We wish everyone a safe and enjoyable second summer!

Get into the spirit this week. Students and faculty are encouraged to dress up according to the theme as a way to kick start the new year. Monday: Pajama Day, Tuesday: Twin Day, Wednesday: 80s Day, Thursday: Jersey Day, Friday: Black and Orange.

Block Schedule and Advisories Coming to Lincoln
Lincoln High School will have 84-minute periods, a block schedule (with 8 classes and 4 classes per day), and advisory periods in the coming year. Every student will have an advisory class every day to provide daily academic support. All Tuesdays will be early dismissal days at 1:34 p.m.
Denim Day
Thanks to everyone who wore denim on Wednesday and supported the cause.
Day of Silence
This Thursday, April 15, 2010, the Gay-Straight Alliance will be sponsoring the Day of Silence. This day is a the largest nation-wide student-led event that protests the bullying and harassment of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transfereder (LGBT) students and their supports.
